Dr Akiko Imaizumi

is a Japanese aesthetic dermatologist specializing in anatomy-based injectable and non-surgical rejuvenation techniques for Asian faces. She is an international speaker and faculty member for global aesthetic companies, with a special interest in structural facial design and male aesthetics.
In 2024, she founded the Aesthetic Medical Academy, the first JSAS-accredited educational institution in Japan, welcoming globally renowned experts such as Dr. Steven Liew (Australia) and Prof. Sebastian Cotofana (USA) as board members. She has also contributed to patient safety and education by developing the Japanese-language platform of AMET, Australia’s first organization dedicated to the management of adverse events in aesthetic medicine. Through these initiatives, she is actively committed to advancing safe, effective, and evidence-based injectable treatments.
